This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

With the engine running.
No Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor or Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Temperature Sensor DTCs active.
EGR is commanded on.
Engine is at operating temperature.
