Input Shaft Seal: Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

2. Remove the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
3. Using a suitable tool, remove the input shaft seal.
   NOTE:

   Take care not to mar or damage the sealing surface during the seal removal.

Cleaning

• Clean and inspect the seal sealing surface.
