Integrated Electric Oil Pump (IEP): Removal

- Power down the 12-volt system. Refer to 12 VOLT BATTERY DISCONNECT - 2.0L or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - 5.7L .
- Power down the high voltage system. Refer to HIGH VOLTAGE POWER DOWN .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the stiffening plate. Refer to PLATE, STIFFENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the PHEV - front skid plate brace. Refer to CROSSMEMBER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1 - Push-Pins 2 - Crossmember Support Cap - Remove push-pins holding the support caps and remove the cap.
1 - Support to Transmission Crossmember Fasteners 2 - Support to Body Fasteners - Loosen the bolts that attach components to the transmission skid plates with slotted holes.
- Remove the support to body fasteners.
- Remove the Support to transmission crossmember fasteners remove the crossmember.
1 - Blocker to Transmission Bolts 2 - Blocker Screw 3 - Blocker - Remove the fasteners and remove the high voltage trough from the vehicle.
1 - Transmission High Voltage Cable Connector Bolts 2 - Bolt 3 - High Voltage Connector to PIM - Remove the bolts from the transmission high voltage cable connector.
- Cover the high voltage wiring harness connector and carefully position the transmission high voltage cable aside.
- Drain the transmission fluid into a clean container. Refer to FLUID/FILTER SERVICE

1 - Oil Pan Bolts 2 - Transmission Oil Pan Assembly - Remove the oil pan bolts.
- Remove the transmission pan assembly and gasket.
1 - Integrated Electric Oil Pump (IEP) 2 - IEP Bolts 3 - IEP LIN Wire Harness Connector - Disconnect the IEP LIN wire harness connector.
- Remove the IEP bolts and the IEP.
1 - Transmission Oil Filter 2 - IEP Intake Duct - If necessary, remove the IEP intake duct.
INSPECTION
- Inspect the transmission oil pan gasket for reuse. If the gasket is cut or torn, replace the gasket.
- Inspect the IEP intake duct. Replace the duct if damaged.
