Transmission Oil Cooler Hoses - Trans Cooler To Trans Heater: Removal

  1. Remove the intake air tubing. Refer to TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION - 2.0L or TUBE, INTAKE AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION, 5.7L .

    1 - Transmission Oil Cooler Lines
    2 - Transmission Oil Cooler
  2. Using the (special tool #9546, Disconnect Tool), disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the transmission oil cooler.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  4. Remove the transmission cooler line bolts securing the transmission cooler line assembly the oil pan.

  5. Using the (special tool #9546, Disconnect Tool), disconnect the transmission oil cooler lines from the transmission. Remove the transmission oil lines from the vehicle.
