Transmission Oil Pump: Notes

Transmission oil pump service will require disassembly and assembly of Clutch A and Clutch B. The individual clutches listed below provide the following information for each clutch assembly:

• Disassembly and assembly procedures
• Clutch pack clearance measurements
• Clutch pack clearance specifications
• Adjustments - selectable snap rings and backing plates

It is recommended to measure the clutch pack clearances for evaluation before disassembling the transmission oil pump and making sure they remain in specification after reassembling the transmission oil pump.
