MONITORING CONDITIONS
P0C73-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A" CONTROL PERFORMANCE 
  • Continuous when the pump is commanded on.
  • Ignition is in the Run position.
P0C74-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B" CONTROL PERFORMANCE 
  • Continuous when the pump is commanded on.
  • Ignition is in the Run position.
P1EA2-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE 
  • Continuous when the pump is commanded on.
  • Ignition is in the Run position.
P1EA3-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE 
  • Continuous when the pump is commanded on.
  • Ignition is in the Run position.

  • Continuous when the pump is commanded on.

FAULT SETTING CRITERIA
P0C73-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A" CONTROL PERFORMANCE  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the Low Temperature Coolant Pump 1 is not operating at the requested pump speed.
P0C74-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B" CONTROL PERFORMANCE  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the Low Temperature Coolant Pump 2 is not operating at the requested pump speed.
P1EA2-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the temperature sensor inside the Low Temperature Coolant Pump 1 is not providing expected temperature reading as compared with other temperature sensors.
P1EA3-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the temperature sensor inside the Low Temperature Coolant Pump 2 is not providing expected temperature reading as compared with other temperature sensors.
P1EA4-00 HYBRID / EV BATTERY PACK COOLANT PUMP "A" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the temperature sensor inside the Battery Coolant Pump is not providing expected temperature reading as compared with other temperature sensors.
P1EA5-00 COOLANT PUMP "A" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the High Temp Auxiliary Coolant Pump internal temperature sensor is faulted.
P2601-00 ELECTRIC COOLANT PUMP CONTROL CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE / STUCK OFF  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the High Temp Auxiliary Coolant Pump malfunction has been detected.
P2B28-00 HYBRID / EV BATTERY PACK COOLANT PUMP "A" PERFORMANCE  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the Battery Coolant Pump is not operating at the requested pump speed.
P2B29-00 HYBRID / EV BATTERY PACK COOLANT PUMP "A" OVERSPEED / AIR IN SYSTEM  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the Battery Coolant Pump has detected a dry run condition based on higher pump speed.
P2D01-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A" OVERSPEED / AIR IN SYSTEM  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the Low Temperature Coolant Pump 1 has detected a dry run condition based on higher pump speed.
P2D06-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B" OVERSPEED / AIR IN SYSTEM  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detects that the Low Temperature Coolant Pump 2 has detected a dry run condition based on higher pump speed.
U0623-00 LOST COMMUNICATION WITH COOLANT PUMP "A"  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detected loss of communication with the High Temp Auxiliary Pump over the LIN BUS.
U0646-00 LOST COMMUNICATION WITH MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A"  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detected loss of communication with the Low Temperature Coolant Pump 1 over the LIN BUS.
U0647-00 LOST COMMUNICATION WITH MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B"  The Hybrid Control Processor (HCP) detected loss of communication with the Low Temperature Coolant Pump 2 over the LIN BUS.
DEFAULT AND LIMP-IN ACTIONS
P0C73-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A" CONTROL PERFORMANCE 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Reduced thermal cooling performance.
  • System torque is limited.
P0C74-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B" CONTROL PERFORMANCE 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Reduced thermal cooling performance.
  • System torque is limited.
  • High Temp Aux Coolant Pump diagnostics are disabled.
  • Heater request will be disabled.
P1EA2-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Inverter coolant Temp sensor and Electronics Coolant Temp Sensor Range/Performance diagnostics will be disabled.
  • System torque is limited.
P1EA3-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Switch to Low Temp Coolant Pump internal temperature performance readings.
P1EA4-00 HYBRID / EV BATTERY PACK COOLANT PUMP "A" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Chiller and Heat exchanger diagnostics are disabled.
P1EA5-00 COOLANT PUMP "A" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Reduced thermal cooling performance.
  • System torque is limited.
P2601-00 ELECTRIC COOLANT PUMP CONTROL CIRCUIT PERFORMANCE / STUCK OFF 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Heater request will be disabled.
  • Engine will turn on if heating is requested.
P2B28-00 HYBRID / EV BATTERY PACK COOLANT PUMP "A" PERFORMANCE 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
P2B29-00 HYBRID / EV BATTERY PACK COOLANT PUMP "A" OVERSPEED / AIR IN SYSTEM 
  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Disable EAC for battery cooling.
  • Disable Battery Coolant Heater for Battery heating.
  • System will enter thermal reduced performance if the battery temperature exceeds a calibrated limit.

  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) on.
  • Reduced thermal cooling performance.
  • System torque is limited.

P0C74-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "B" CONTROL PERFORMANCE 
  • Low system voltage.
  • LIN BUS communication DTCs.
  • Low coolant in the Low Temperature Cooling Loop.
  • Weak B+ feed to Low Temperature Coolant Pump 2.
  • Weak Ground to Low Temperature Coolant Pump 2.
  • Low Temperature Coolant Pump 2.
P1EA2-00 MOTOR ELECTRONICS COOLANT PUMP "A" TEMPERATURE SENSOR PERFORMANCE 
  • Low coolant in the Low Temperature Cooling Loop.
