Torque Specifications - FLEXPLATE And Torque Converter

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - FLEXPLATE AND TORQUE CONVERTER

CALLOUT DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATION COMMENT
1 Flexplate to Crankshaft Bolts Torque Procedure: 
  1. With clean engine oil, lubricate the fastener side of backing plate.
  2. Tighten the fasteners 50 N.m (37 ft. lbs.)  .
  3. Loosen one fastener at a time and then retighten the fastener 125 N.m (92 ft. lbs.)  .
  4. Using a torque angle gauge, tighten each fastener an additional 30°  .
Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW  fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.

2 Dust Cover Bolt 9 N.m (80 In. Lbs.)  -
Not Shown Torque Converter to Flex Plate Bolt 41 N.m (30 Ft. Lbs.)  Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
NOTE:

If old fastener must be re-used, Loc-Tite® must be applied to the threads.
