Drive Line Support Fixture

  1. Remove the air cleaner body.
  2. Remove the left and right side radiator crossmember bolts.

  3. Assemble the (special tool #8534C-17, Kit, WL Engine Support).
  4. Install the WL engine support kit on the left and right strut towers and radiator support.
  5. Secure the (special tool #8534C, Fixture, Driveline Support) to the WL engine support kit using the U-bolts.
  6. Install the left and right side radiator support bolts to secure the fixture.
  7. Attach the lifting hook to the following locations:
    • 2.0L - Install suitable engine lifting brackets to the engine and position a load-leveling lifting sling between the engine and an engine hoist.
    • 3.6L - Remove the throttle body, connect to the hole in the top of the front timing cover.
    • 5.7L - Remove the intake manifold, install and connect to the engine lifting fixture 8984C.
