Muffler Heat Shield: Removal

  1. Remove the exhaust resonator/muffler. Refer to: 2.0L ENGINE - MUFFLER, EXHAUST, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    1 - Muffler Heat Shield Nuts
    2 - Muffler Heat Shield
    3 - Muffler Heat Shield Bolts
  2. Remove the muffler heat shield nuts, muffler heat shield bolts, and the muffler heat shield.
