Hose, Clean Air: Installation

  1. Position the clean air hose (2) between the throttle body intake and the air cleaner body.
  2. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the Inlet Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.

  3. Tighten the clamp (5) at the throttle body inlet to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Tighten the clamp (3) at the air cleaner body to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Install the pushpins (1).
  6. Connect the quick coupling (2) of the fresh air make up hose to the clean air hose (4).
  7. Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
