Tube, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR): Installation
- Install a NEW
gasket to the EGR tube.
- Install the EGR tube to the catalytic converter with nuts (1) hand tight.
- Install EGR tube to the EGR cooler and tighten the bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION

- Tighten the EGR tube nuts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install catalytic converter heat shield. Refer to 2.0L CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, INSTALLATION or 2.4L CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, INSTALLATION .
- Install upstream oxygen sensor. Refer to 2.0L SENSOR, OXYGEN, INSTALLATION or 2.4L SENSOR, OXYGEN, INSTALLATION .
