Separator, Oil: Installation

  1. Install a new gasket (2) to the engine oil vapor separator (1).

  2. Install the engine oil vapor separator (1) with eight NEW  bolts (2) hand tight.

  3. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in illustration to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  4. Engage the engine wiring retaining clips (1).
  5. Install the intake manifold. Refer to MANIFOLD, INTAKE, INSTALLATION .
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  8. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
