Dipstick Tube, Engine Oil: Installation

  1. Install a new O-ring seal (1) on the engine oil dipstick tube lubricated with clean engine oil.

  2. Install the oil dipstick tube (1) into the oil pan. Install and tighten the upper nut (2) and lower nut (4) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Engage the retainer (3) to the oil dipstick tube (1).
