Hose, Clean Air: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL .
- Disengage the surge valve hose (1) from the retainer on the clean air hose.
- Disconnect the Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) hose quick coupling (1) from the CCV heater.
- Loosen the band clamp and remove the crankcase pressure sensor hose (2) from the CCV heater.
- Unlock and disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the CCV heater.
- Loosen the air cleaner body to clean air hose band clamp (1).
- Loosen the turbocharger inlet to clean air hose band clamp (2).
- Remove the clean air hose (3).
