Hose, Clean Air: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL .

  3. Disengage the surge valve hose (1) from the retainer on the clean air hose.

  4. Disconnect the Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) hose quick coupling (1) from the CCV heater.
  5. Loosen the band clamp and remove the crankcase pressure sensor hose (2) from the CCV heater.
  6. Unlock and disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the CCV heater.

  7. Loosen the air cleaner body to clean air hose band clamp (1).
  8. Loosen the turbocharger inlet to clean air hose band clamp (2).
  9. Remove the clean air hose (3).
