Hose, Clean Air: Installation

  1. Install the clean air hose (3) between the air cleaner body and the turbocharger inlet.
  2. Tighten the air cleaner body band clamp (1) and turbocharger inlet band clamp (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Connect and lock the wire harness connector (3) to the CCV heater.
  4. Install the crankcase pressure sensor hose (2) to the CCV heater and tighten the band clamp.
  5. Connect the quick coupling of the CCV hose (1) to the CCV heater.

  6. Engage the surge valve hose (1) to the retainer on the clean air hose.
  7. Install the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, INSTALLATION .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
