Valve, Surge: Installation

  1. Install the surge valve (2b) complete with new gasket (2c) and securely tighten the bolts (2a).
  2. Connect and lock the surge valve wire harness connection (1).

  3. Connect the turbocharger bypass pipe (1b) to the surge valve and tighten the band clamp (1a).
  4. Install the top engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
