Turbocharger Coolant Supply Pipe

  1. Position the turbocharger coolant supply pipe (4) to the engine. Install and tighten the bolt (3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the cooling hose (2) on the turbocharger coolant supply pipe (4) and tighten the band clamp (1).

  3. Engage the wire harness retainers (1) to the turbocharger coolant supply pipe.

  4. Install the turbocharger coolant supply pipe (2) with a NEW  O-ring to the turbocharger and tighten the two bolts (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  5. Install the turbocharger oil supply pipe (1) with a NEW  O-ring to the turbocharger and tighten the bolt (3) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Tighten the nut (2) securing the oil dipstick tube, engine coolant pipe and the turbocharger oil supply pipe (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  7. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, INSTALLATION .
  8. Fill the coolant system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  10. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
