Panel, Silencer, Lower: Installation

Passenger Side 

  1. Position passenger side silencer panel to instrument panel. If equipped, connect the wire harness connector.
  2. Align passenger side silencer panel (1) to the fastener holes.
  3. Insert the push-pins (2).
  4. Tuck the edges of the silencer panel (1) under the surrounding components.

Driver Side 

  1. Position driver side silencer panel to instrument panel. If equipped, connect the wire harness connector.
  2. Align driver side silencer panel (4) to the fastener holes.
  3. Install the fasteners (3).
  4. Engage the data link connector (2).
  5. Install the hood release handle (1).
  6. Install the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the door sill plate. Refer to PLATE, SCUFF, LIFTGATE, INSTALLATION .
