Isolator, Front CROSSMEMBER, Torsion: Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Remove the exhaust pipe. Refer to PIPE, EXHAUST CROSSUNDER, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the rear engine mount bracket. Refer to INSULATOR, ENGINE MOUNT, RIGHT, REMOVAL .
    NOTE:

    Prior to using pressing tools, lubricate the screw-type threads to provide ease of use and promote tool longevity.

  4. Assemble tools over isolator crossmember assembly as shown:
    1. (special tool #2026900170, Kit, Pressing Tool)
    2. (special tool #2054501130, Remover, Bushing)
    3. (special tool #2054502130, Receiver, Bushing Removal)

  5. Tighten the pressing tool (1) and remove the isolator.
