Linkage, Wiper Arm: Installation
NOTE:
The wiper motor can be removed from the wiper linkage module and is serviced separately. Refer to MOTOR, WIPER, REMOVAL .
- Position the rubber isolator into the slotted bracket (4).
- Install the fasteners that secure the wiper linkage to the brackets (3 and 5). Tighten the wiper linkage fasteners to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the wire harness connector (2) to the wiper motor.
- Install the cowl cover panel. Refer to COVER, COWL PANEL, INSTALLATION .
- Install the wiper arms. Refer to ARM, WIPER, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
