Turbocharger Oil Supply Pipe

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the turbocharger oil return pipe from the turbocharger. Refer to LINES, TUBES AND HOSES, TURBOCHARGER, OIL AND COOLANT, REMOVAL .

  4. Remove the bolt (2) and disconnect turbocharger oil supply pipe (1) from the crankcase.

  5. Remove the bolt (3) from the turbocharger oil supply pipe (1) on the turbocharger.
  6. Remove the nut (2) securing the oil dipstick tube, coolant return pipe and oil supply pipe (2) to the turbocharger.

  7. Remove the turbocharger oil supply pipe (1a), complete with O-rings (1b).
