Solenoid, Oil Pump: Removal

  1. Remove the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, REMOVAL .
  2. Drain the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the oil cooler. Refer to COOLER, OIL, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the oil pump solenoid wire harness connector (2) and detach the wire harness retainers (1).

  5. Remove the oil pressure solenoid studbolt (1) and the oil pressure solenoid (2).
