Oil Pump Pick-Up - TRAILHAWK

  1. Install a new O-ring seal (1) on the oil pump pick-up tube.

  2. Install the oil pump pick-up tube and tighten the screws in the sequence shown in illustration to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the lower oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, INSTALLATION .
  4. If removed, install the oil filter and fill the engine crankcase with the proper oil to the correct level. Refer to ENGINE OIL, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  6. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
