Windage Tray - TRAILHAWK

  1. Install the windage tray and eight bolts in the locations shown in illustration. The ninth and tenth bolts will be installed with the oil pump pick-up.
  2. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in illustration to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the oil pump pick-up. Refer to PICK-UP, OIL PUMP, INSTALLATION .
  4. Install the upper oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, INSTALLATION .
  5. If removed, install the oil filter and fill the engine crankcase with the proper oil to the correct level. Refer to ENGINE OIL, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  7. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
