Pump, Coolant, Charge Air Cooler: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to
COOLING/STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Disconnect the coolant pump wire harness connector (2).
- Remove the coolant pump inlet hose (3).
- Remove the coolant pump outlet hose (1).
- Remove the three bolts (2) and position aside the coolant tube (1).
- Remove the bolts (2) and the coolant pump (1).
