Pump, Coolant, Charge Air Cooler: Installation

  1. Install the coolant pump (1) and tighten the bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  2. Install the coolant tube (1) and tighten the bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Install the coolant pump outlet hose (1).
  4. Install the coolant pump inlet hose (3).

  5. Connect the coolant pump wire harness connector (2).
  6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to COOLING/STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  7. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
