Glove Box, Instrument Panel: Removal
- Open the glove box door (1) and release the support arms (5) by pressing down on them and pulling out on the glove box door (1).
- Release the damper arm (2) and lift up on the door to release the hinges (4) to remove the glove box door (1).
- Remove the glove box upper fasteners (3).
- Remove the fasteners (1) and lower the outboard side of the silencer panel (2) to release it from the instrument panel.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector(s) and remove the silencer panel.
- Remove the push fastener (1) and the floor duct (2) below the glove box.
- Remove the fasteners (2) located under the glove box (1).NOTE:
Position necessary harnesses aside to access screws.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector (3).
- Release the retaining clips from each side of the glove box (1). Side the glove box (1) out of the instrument panel and remove it from the vehicle.
