Pod, Switch: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel center bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the fasteners (1) from the switch pod to the instrument panel center bezel.
  4. Use a suitable tool to carefully disengage the three tabs (2) to release the switch pod from the instrument panel bezel.
  5. Remove the switch pod from the instrument panel center bezel.
