Diagnostic Test

AIRBAG DEPLOYMENT WAS DETECTED 

1. With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.

   Are any other DTCs set?

   Yes 

   • Perform the appropriate DTC(s) procedures.

   No 

   • This DTC indicates that the vehicle has been in an accident and the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) has deployed the airbags.
   • Perform the SERVICE AFTER A SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM DEPLOYMENT service procedure. Refer to SERVICE AFTER A SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM DEPLOYMENT .
