Main Battery Tray: Notes

REMOVAL
WARNING:
The battery negative and positive cable polarity are different from the gasoline engine equipped vehicles to the diesel engine equipped vehicles. Please note the location of the positive and negative cables prior to service of the battery or related components.
- Remove the driver side front seat. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the battery. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
1 - Front Seat Support Brace Nuts 2 - Front Seat Support Brace - Remove the front seat support brace nuts from the front seat support brace and remove the brace from the vehicle.
1 - Battery Tray Bolts 2 - Battery Tray - Remove the battery tray bolts that secure the battery tray to the floor and remove the battery tray.
- Remove the left front wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove the two bolts that secure the bottom of the battery tray.
- Remove battery tray from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle.
During installation, torque the fasteners to the specifications in the torque table(s) below.
