Battery Disconnect And Connect

DISCONNECT
- Remove the rear floor heat duct. Refer to DUCT, FLOOR DISTRIBUTION, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1 - Negative Battery Cable 2 - Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) Wire Harness Connector 3 - Ground Terminal Nut 4 - Auxiliary Negative Battery Cable - Disconnect the Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS) wire harness connector.
- Press and release the negative battery cable.
- Remove the ground terminal nut and isolate the auxiliary negative battery cable and set aside.
CONNECT

| 4 - Auxiliary Negative Battery Cable |
- Install the auxiliary negative battery cable and tighten the ground terminal nut to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Press and install the negative battery cable onto the IBS stud.
- Connect the IBS wire harness connector.
- Install the rear floor heat duct. Refer to DUCT, FLOOR DISTRIBUTION, REAR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
