Clutch Interlock Switch
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to 3.0L, BATTERY DISCONNECT & CONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM
or 3.6L, BATTERY DISCONNECT & CONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM

1 - Clutch Pedal Position Switch - Disconnect the clutch pedal position switch wire harness connector.
- Pry the clutch pedal position switch off the clutch master cylinder and remove the clutch pedal position switch form the vehicle.
INSTALLATION
Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
- If the clutch pedal position sensor is being replaced, use the diagnostic scan tool to perform the "Clutch pedal position sensor" learn procedure in the Powertrain Control Modules (PCM) "Misc. functions" menu. This must be performed when the PCM, clutch pedal sensor, or related components are replaced.
- Verify the clutch pedal position switch functions correctly.
