Diagnostic Test

VERIFY IF DTC C151D IS ACTIVE ON ITS OWN 

NOTE:

The DTC C151D should not exist on its own. If any other DTCs are present, refer to the appropriate diagnostic procedure for that DTC first before continuing.

NOTE:

If a new TPM Module was installed, the vehicle must remain stationary for 20 minutes before proceeding with this diagnostic procedure.

  1. Turn the ignition on.
  2. With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
  3. Test drive the vehicle at a speed greater than 24 km/h (15 mph) for 20 minutes in order to receive TPM Sensor data and allow for the system to update.
  4. With the scan tool, erase TPM Module DTCs.
  5. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

Is DTC C151D active on its own at this time?

Yes 

No
