Priming The Oil Pump

  1. Remove the oil cooler/filter adapter. Refer to ADAPTER/COOLER, OIL FILTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    1 - Oil Pump Priming Opening
  2. Using a appropriate oil fill bottle with a straw, fill the oil pump through the oil pump priming opening with 7 ounces (200 ml) of the recommended engine oil. Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS, SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the oil cooler/filter adapter. Refer to ADAPTER/COOLER, OIL FILTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
