Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is illuminated as soon as the diagnostic fails.
The Transmission will shift into Seventh Gear via Neutral.
The Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) will be commanded open.
Disable temporary manual mode input (shift paddles).
Special shifting modes (Manual Mode, Sport Mode, Tow Mode) will be disabled.
Transmission adaptations will be disabled.
Engine Stop/Start (ESS) function, if equipped, will be disabled.
