The Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor is used to indicate the position of the turbine vanes. The Position Sensor is located inside the actuator assembly at the end of the output shaft that is used to position the vanes. The output shaft angle, as indicated by the Position Sensor, is sent via CAN message from the actuator to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
