1 - 90 Degree Type Quick-Connect Fitting

2 - Release Tabs

This 90 degree type quick-connect fitting is equipped with release tabs located on both sides of the fitting. The plastic release tabs will remain on the component being serviced after the quick-connect fitting is removed. The O-ring and spacer will remain in the quick-connect fitting. Special tools are not required for removal.

2 - Quick-Connect Fitting

This type quick-connect fitting is equipped with release tabs located on both sides of the fitting. The plastic release tabs will remain on the component being serviced after the quick-connect fitting is removed. The O-ring and spacer will remain in the quick-connect fitting. Special tools are not required for removal.

Clean the area around the holding clip of dirt and debris.
Squeeze the plastic tabs together to disengage quick-connect fitting.
NOTE:
Do not rotate the quick connector during the disassembly process.
Remove the quick-connect fitting from the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) system component.
