Diesel Exhaust Fluid Supply Line

REMOVAL 

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cables.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

    3 - Diesel Exhaust Fluid Supply Line Retaining Clip
  3. Detach the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) supply line retaining clip.
  4. Remove the DEF tank shield nuts and the DEF tank shield.

  5. Disconnect the DEF supply line Norma connector to DEF pump. Refer to NORMA CONNECTOR FITTING .
  6. Detach the DEF supply line retaining clips.

  7. Disconnect the DEF supply line heater wire harness connector.

  8. Disconnect the DEF supply line Norma connector from the dosing injector. Refer to NORMA CONNECTOR FITTING .
  9. Detach the DEF supply line routing clips and remove the supply line.

INSTALLATION 

During installation, torque the fasteners to the specifications in the torque table(s) below.

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
