WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
CLUTCH A MEASUREMENT PROCEDURE
- Using (special tool #10428, Adapter, Pressing Tool) and (special tool #10429, Gauge, Force), place the Clutch A/oil pump assembly in a suitable arbor press.
- Apply 200 N (45 lbs.) of force to the Clutch A backing plate to compress the wave plate.
1 - Pressing Tool Adapter 2 - Feeler Gauge - With a suitable feeler gauge measure the gap between the Clutch A backing plate and the snap ring.
- Refer to the clutch clearance table for specs. If clearance is not within specification, a thinner or thicker selectable snap ring can be installed for proper clearance.
