The fuel tank is constructed of a plastic material. Its main functions are for fuel storage and for placement of the Fuel Pump Control Module, and Onboard Refueling Vapor Recovery (ORVR) components. The fuel tank is equipped with fuel and vapor controls that allow the vehicle to pass a full 360° rollover without fuel leakage.
