CHECK THE BATTERY SUPPLY TO THE PCM FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONNECTION

  1. Turn the ignition off.
  2. This is an information only DTC indicating that the battery supply was temporarily lost to the PCM. The most likely issue is an intermittent connection in the battery supply circuit or PCM ground circuit issue. All of the following should be carefully checked:
    • Check the terminals for (A908) Fused B+ circuit for a proper connection, pushed out, damaged or spread terminals at the PDC, any in-line and the PCM harness connectors.
    • Check the fuse for proper connection in the PDC. Verify the fuse is not corroded or partially burnt.
    • Verify that the PCM ground circuits have a good chassis ground.
