115 Volt Outlet - Cargo Box

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to 3.0L, BATTERY DISCONNECT & CONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM or 3.6L, BATTERY DISCONNECT & CONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM .

2. Remove the four screws (1) securing the 115 volt outlet (2) to the cargo box (3).

3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
4. From under the vehicle on the passenger side of the cargo box, using a trim stick disengage the fastener holding the outlet connector (2) to the cargo box.
5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) and remove the outlet (2) from the vehicle.

6. Pry the latch away from the locking tabs (1) and remove the outlet (2) from the bracket.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install the outlet in the cover bracket and seat the module until the latch fully engages the lock tabs.
2. Position the outlet in the vehicle and connect the wire harness connector.
3. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
4. Install the four screws and tighten securely.
5. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to 3.0L, BATTERY DISCONNECT & CONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM or 3.6L, BATTERY DISCONNECT & CONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM .
