Body - Interior & Exterior (2 Of 2): Weatherstrip/Seals: Caution
Some body mounted weatherstrips are sealed to the body using a white mastic compound.
CAUTION:
Door and Liftgate weatherstrip seals that use a white mastic sealant must be replaced with a new weatherstrip and any mastic must be cleaned from attachment flanges whenever the weatherstrip is removed.

Failure to follow these recommendations could result in damage or failure to the part and the related parts.
