Rear Park Assist: Radio

The Radio displays a personalization menu entry that will allow the customer to set the RPA chime volume. When the Radio wakes up on CAN-IHS, the Radio recalls the state of the RPA chime volume feature.

When the customer selects a RPA chime volume setting, the Radio sends a configuration signal to the PAM. When the PAM receives a request for the RPA chime volume feature, the PAM changes the setting and responds back to the Radio with the new volume level request. When the Radio receives this request. the Radio changes the stored status of the RPA chime volume setting and changes the display to the customer.
