Diagnostic Test

CHECK THE BLUETOOTH ANTENNA CONNECTION
1. Turn the ignition off.
2. Disconnect the Bluetooth Antenna connector at the back of the Radio.
3. Inspect the Bluetooth Antenna connections.
  Are the Bluetooth Antenna connections clean and secure?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Repair the Bluetooth Antenna connection as needed.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
CHECK THE BLUETOOTH ANTENNA AND CABLE
1. Connect the 9977-6-WiFi BT (special tool #9977-6-WiFi-BT, Antenna, WiFi Blue Tooth) to the antenna connection on the back of the Radio.
2. Make sure one of the front doors is still open.
3. Using the scan tool, erase the DTCs.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. Turn the Radio on.
6. Using the scan tool, read the active Radio DTCs.
  Did the DTC return?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Radio in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 3
TEST THE BLUETOOTH ANTENNA CABLE
1. Disconnect the Bluetooth Antenna cable at the base.
2. Connect the appropriate (special tool #9977-6-1, Adapter) or (special tool #9977-6-3, Adapter) to the Bluetooth Antenna cable at the back of the Radio.
3. Connect the appropriate (special tool #9977-6-4, Jumper) or (special tool #9977-6-2, Jumper) to the Bluetooth Antenna cable at the Bluetooth Antenna base.
4. Measure the Resistance across the tool terminals.
  Is the resistance below 47.5 Ohms?
  
  Yes
  - Use the (special tool #9977-6, Kit, Radio Antenna Diagnostic) to locate the short together, repair or replace the Bluetooth Antenna cable as necessary.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Replace the Bluetooth Antenna base in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
