Theory Of Operation
The Left and Right Front Signature Lamps are integral to the Left and Right Front Lamp Assemblies and use Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) for illumination. When the Body Control Module (BCM) receives a hardwired input from the Headlamp Switch, requesting Park Lamp illumination, the BCM provides a voltage output, through the Left and Right Front Park Lamp Driver circuits, to integral controllers within the Left and Right Front Lamp Assemblies. The integral controllers then provide an internal Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) voltage to the Left and Right Front Signature Lamps. A ground path for the Left and Right Front Signature Lamps is present through the wiring harnesses of the Left and Right Front Lamp Assemblies, to the body sheet metal.
