In vehicles equipped with the optional PEKG system, an active VTA alarm can be disarmed if a valid FOBIK is present inside the vehicle and the KIN is transitioned from OFF to RUN. If a valid key FOBIK is not detected by the SKIS and communicated by the RFH to the BCM, the alarm will continue to be active.
