BLUETOOTH®/WI-FI Antenna

Models with a 257 mm (10.1 in.) DSM use a Bluetooth®/Wi-Fi antenna, unlike models equipped with the 213 mm (8.4 in.) radio which has the Bluetooth®/Wi-Fi antenna internal to the radio. This antenna is used to send and receive Radio Frequency (RF) signals in the designated ranges for Bluetooth® and Wi-Fi and is connected to the instrument panel wire harness using two FAKRA connectors, one on the left for Wi-Fi and the other on the right for Bluetooth®. The Bluetooth®/Wi-Fi antenna is located behind the instrument panel trim above the glovebox door, secured to the instrument panel lower retainer.
