Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel center bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Remove the fasteners (1) that secure the back of the switch bank pod to the instrument panel center bezel (2).

  4. Remove the switch bank pod (1) from the front of the instrument panel center bezel (2).
