Removal And Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .

2. Remove the bolt (1a) and the oil pump pick-up tube (1b).
3. Remove and discard the O-ring seal.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install a NEW  O-ring seal on the oil pump pick-up tube.
2. Install the oil pump pick-up tube and tighten the screws to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
3. Install the oil pan. Refer to PAN, OIL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  .
4. If removed, install the oil filter and fill the engine crankcase with the proper oil to the correct level. Refer to CAPACITIES AND RECOMMENDED FLUIDS, SPECIFICATIONS .
